Malpaìs
This small village is on the west coast
of the Nicoya peninsula, about four km north of Cabo Blanco
National Park and 17 km from Montezuma, passing through Cobano.
It is very popular with surfers and sunset lovers. Camping
is permitted on the beach.
Santa
teresa
A
couple of km north is Santa Teresa and
further up Playa Hermosa, a great wild, isolated, sandy and
shaded beach where it is perfect to organize e full day pic-nic
under the almendro trees.

Manzanillo
About 14 km north from malpaìs, this beach is
long and shaded, famous for its annual appointment with the competition
of sandy castles, which takes place every February.
